Introduction

The Equine Assisted Natural Healing program (EANH) is recognized as an effective, non-intrusive and safe method to compliment traditional medicinal practices and therapeutic treatments. EANH is based on a concept known as Equine Intuitive Healing.

Equine Assisted Natural Healing (EANH)

Equine Assisted Natural Healing (EANH)® brings the kinship between facilitator and equine in assisting the participant through the gift of equine intuitive healing.

The Equine Assisted Natural Healing (EANH)® sessions and workshops were formed and created by of Epona Stable and Farms Ltd as a gentle, non-evasive, respectful and peaceful equine-centered healing experience for participants.

EANH is recognized as an effective, non-intrusive and safe method to compliment traditional medicinal practices and therapeutic treatments. Felicia Allen developed EANH based on what she refers to as Equine Intuitive Healing© - a concept she originated and has specifically worked with for almost three decades.

The principle of Equine Intuitive Healing is based on understanding and recognizing the extraordinary senses development in horses which have evolved over the past 45 to 55 million years of the horses existence on earth (since the time of the dinosaur where horses were much smaller living among their long since perished ancestors).

Incredibly, horses have survived 45 to 55 million years of evolution and environmental challenges as prey animals. The extraordinary senses that horses have developed enable the animals innately to sense our energies and emotions silently, un-obtrusively and to work their extraordinary inner healing abilities. Horses are experts at weeding out negative energies and emotions in our beings and often the participants feel a sense of wellbeing after a session.

Horses are particularly good at communicating and understanding children with autism. The horses communication transcend and reach deep within the child's inner landscape. For this reason, EANH is effective on many levels.

An Equine Assisted Natural Healing (EANH)® certified workshop facilitator possesses an indepth understanding of the nature of a horse. For that reason, EANH provides two methods to obtain facilitator certification:

The Experienced Horse Person (with at least a consecutive ten year equine-related background) EANH Certification Method is designed specifically for individuals with an extensive horse background consisting of actively working with horses and owning horses.

The Novice to Horses (with a clinician background) EANH Facilitator Certification Method for clinicians interested in practising equine healing as an option for their patients.

Most EANH facilitators come from horse backgrounds with years grounded in horsemanship and an understanding of the true nature of the horse. The EANH facilitator is an experienced interpreter and facilitator in the session or workshop atmosphere. Facilitators also understand the horse herd mentality and have the ability to establish a deep foundation of insight and communication with the horse prior to, and during, the workshop.

EANH certified facilitators have natural horsemanship (the nature and communication with the horse both as receiver and giver) as their educational foundation. In other words, facilitators are, or become, first and foremost horse people that understand the language and nature of the horse. EANH facilitators are also experts at facilitating (and not orchestrating) possible session or workshop scenarios.

A Session In Narrative video describes an actual EANH session facilitated by EANH's Founder.

More information on the EANH facilitators certifications is available by contacting us.

The EANH privacy policy respects that session or workshop individuals right to confidentiality is honored. For this reason, EANH does not publish photographs, videos or reproduce the sessions or workshops with participants.

Equine Assisted Natural Healing (EANH) Founder:

Felicia Allen grew up with horses in a European classical riding education mileau. When her family immigrated to Canada, one of their first endeavours was to build a horse stable in North Vancouver where many more years of riding, competing, teaching and training horses continued inbetween a university and two-time college graduate education. Felicia has also worked 'hands-on' with youth at risk in an alternative treatment center; She has worked hands-on with elders in extended care hospitalized settings; She has worked with veterans in a government setting; However, her true vocation has always been with horses: She has over forty years of combined teaching, horse riding instruction, horse training, natural horsemanship workshops, and healing and horses sessions and workshops (EANH). Felicia is also the founder of the Standardbred Horse Fan Club and the Equine Right To A Quality Life movement (anti-horse slaughter movement). In 2011, she originated the idea of a Canada Retirement Foundation for race horses which would provide opportunities for race horses to begin new careers with humans (in addition to riding companions) rather than being sent to slaughter. is also the founder of the Epona Academy of True Natural Horsemanship. As a specialist in working with, and understanding, the nature and language of horses, she brings the special love of the animals to EANH participants.

With over five decades of living, being, sharing and loving horses, brings her intimate understanding of the horse's nature and healing qualities and presence to EANH participants.

Horses have the ability to reach deep into our inner emotions and bring calm to distress, relaxation to anxiety, and order to disharmony ~ silently and invisibly.

The workshops or private sessions are for anyone who feels disconnected, over-burdened, stressed out, isolated, depressed, loss, or out of sync.

Autism

One of the creator's miracles is the gift of the autistic child and the horse in communication. The horse finds a place to touch within the being and the child responds and vice versa. This happens spontaneously and naturally without any 'assistance'. A child that is deemed to rarely or barely communicate, communicates with a horse.
